White warehouse shade, a rustic kitchen - a perfect mix

It is no wonder that the plain and simple warehouse shades have gained popularity as kitchen lights.  Designed to light workspaces efficiently they are ideal for this high traffic area of the home.

In this photo I love how the simple warehouse shade in an elegant white just works with  the rustic wood.
Found this post on one of my favorite sites: Remodelista:
Spotted at Elle Decoration SA: the urban offices of Capetown ad agency Derrick. “Located in the Old Castle Brewery, the Derrick offices feature an edgy mix of salvaged items, personal touches, and gritty views, all beautifully framed by Table Mountain.” We especially like the kitchen, which is made entirely of reclaimed Oregon pine planks. • I tried to get this sort of look but I didn’t use large enough lights.. think I might have to redo it. The one in your picture looks great. :)
