At this year’s International Lighting and Accessories Market in Dallas in January Wilmette Lighting  Company introduced a wonderful marriage between period style and newest innovative technology by bringing together two popular options into one product. The new collection remains true to the periods that inspired them but they also break new ground in energy-efficient eco-friendly LED technology.

The period-inspired low-voltage LED pendants are compatible on the MonoRail and FreeJack systems.

We can’t wait to get them into our showroom and onto our website!

The Wilmette name evokes a long and interesting historical journey that began in the fur trading days of the 1820s, along the banks of Lake Michigan just north of Chicago.
It is here that French-Canadian fur trader Antoine Ouillmette and his Potawatan bride were granted 1,280 acres by the U.S. government. Subsequently, this land became the historic village of Wilmette, Illinois.
Today Wilmette is recognized for its shoreline of beautiful homes, rich in period detail. The land that Antoine Ouillmette first settled is now historically landmarked to honor the architectural traditions dating back to the early 1900s.
This architectural period is still reflected in the look and feel of the Village of Wilmette.
Restoration of houses and buildings to their former splendor while maintaining the historical themes and detail in new construction provides the stage for Wilmette Lighting Company.
The Wilmette Lighting collection portrays authentic period lighting design infused with modern technology. Timeless and beautiful, each design revisits the material past and introduces today’s functionality.
Unique in selection and quality standards, Wilmette Lighting Company also takes great pride in announcing our partnership with Holophane historical glass. Known for its unique prismatic characteristics, Holophane has been a respected name in lighting since the late 1800s. This exciting partnership allows us to be the exclusive provider of historical Holophane glass, creating a model of innovative design: Their historic authentic glass, our design reverberations of the past and modern technology. The result is Wilmette Lighting Company.
